2016 PYT Recreation Leaders

Lee Cross
Because my mother didn’t like TV I grew up learning how to entertain myself. My brother, sister and I made up games to play, and to this day I love to play all sorts of sports and games. I spent many a summer working and directing summer camps, and I love the fun and excitement of the first day of camp, youth retreats, and sporting events.  I am a real estate agent and live in Suffolk, VA with my wife Kate and our three girls.  Kate and I help teach the senior high Sunday school class at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Sofia Lanzot

Hola a Todos/ Hi everyone:

My name is Sofia Lanzot I live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I’m 22, I finished my culinary arts studies last November and I’m currently working in a hotel in the tourist area of the island. I enjoy going to rivers, and having outdoors experiences. I also work with the Presbyterian youth of Puerto Rico in camps and activities for them. I’ve been to Triennium 2 times and I’ve had great experiences that have helped me develop leadership inside my home church, presbytery and synod. Really happy to be part of the team and looking forward to meeting you all in person and having fun in PYT 2016.

Billy Price

Yo!  What’s up y’all?!  My name is Billy Price and I am a recent seminary graduate from Memphis, Tennessee. I’m a soon-to-be ordained minister in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. I have been involved in youth ministry for about 8 years now, and my summers are often spent at various camps and conferences. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer, playing music, and spending time with friends in the great outdoors.

Krista Langley

Hiya! My name is Krista Langley but most people call me KK or Kris. I am a member of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas and the volunteer youth coordinator for the Indian Presbyterian Church. I also serve as one of the adult advisors to the American Indian Youth Council (AIYC), the national PCUSA committee for Native American Youth. My actual job is serving as a Forest Technician for the US Forest Service in Texas. I have two amazing daughters, an awesome husband, and a very hyper pup! My favorite hobby is playing and coaching Native American stickball (it’s like the earliest form of competitive sports, comparable to lacrosse), my lifetime goal to educate others about natural resources and the benefits of being outdoors, and I am truly passionate about promoting youth ministry and leadership!
