Highpoint Youth Mission Weekend
Event Location: Central Presbyterian Church – Terre Haute, Indiana
Our youth group spent the weekend of February 24-26 immersed in mission and fellowship with each other and welcomed friends from First Presbyterian Church youth group in Owensboro, KY. The group enjoyed a weekend full of fellowship, food, fun and service. We spent time serving with a neighboring church food pantry, helped to setup a huge fundraiser lunch that was taking place at our church that same weekend and then also prepped, served and cleaned up from the lunch on Sunday.
We managed to squeeze in some time to explore the community with our guests with trips to a local bakery, trampoline park and movie theater. We spent time each day exploring lessons from the PYT resources “See and Be Seen” with games, discussion and prayer. After not having traditional mission trips or much local work due to COVID, this was a much needed and wonderful weekend for all of our youth! Thank you to PYAT for making these funds available.
