Presbytery of Blackhawk Fall Retreat
Event Location: Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center – Oregon, Illinois
Having received support from PYAT, we were able to successfully stage our Fall Retreat at Stronghold Camp and Conference Center from November 11-13. Total attendance was 85 – 65 of whom were middle and high schoolers. Material from the PYT Connect Worship & Prayer Guide was used extensively and the speakers for the event each found a way to connect with the notion of seeing Christ in the people around us.
Saturday the 12th included an opportunity for young people to experience elements of a challenge course. Worship on Sunday included a celebration of The Lord’s Supper.
Eight churches and three Presbyteries (Blackhawk, John Knox, and East Iowa) were represented. We could not have done this without your support. Thanks be to God for PYAT and Triennium endeavors.
