PDA is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) that works to support communities who have experienced natural or human-caused disasters in the U.S. and throughout the world. In this workshop you will learn how the denomination is responding to disasters through volunteer work, preparedness trainings, emotional spiritual care, story ministry, migration accompaniment, and more. Our time together will feature disaster preparedness tips, practices for healthy volunteerism, and opportunities to get involved.
