Adult Protection Policy Training and Testing

Presbyterian Church Child, Youth and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy

A Required Policy and Protection Process for all adults participating in a national Presbyterian event.

Thank you for serving as an adult participant in the 2019 Presbyterian Youth Triennium.  The staff of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Cumberland Presbyterian Churches desire to serve God among young people in all endeavors but especially at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium with excellence, vigilance and faithfulness.  To that end all adults who participate at the Triennium must undergo background screening through Praesidium, Inc. AND undergo the online training created by the legal and risk management departments of the Presbyterian Church (USA) as well as the Safe and Sacred Spaces Abuse Prevention task force and now required through approval by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

All adult advisors, volunteers, leaders, observers, exhibitors and any other adult participants at the Triennium will be emailed the information and link to a simple online video which includes a simple reviewing and testing process as well as two required pdf documents to read and follow.  Completion of this protection policy training in required for entrance onto the campus and participation in the Triennium.

If you are an adult attending the Triennium you will receive notice with a link for your training from the PYT staff.  For questions please contact Analise Brown, PYT Policy Manager:  [email protected]
