Young Adults
For the first time, the Presbyterian Youth Triennium is excited to welcome young adults to attend Triennium as participants! Young Adults (YA) who are 19-25 years old and are active in PC(USA) or Cumberland Presbyterian Church are invited to join the new Young Adult Track.
Along with participating in Triennium’s large group sessions (Worship, Recreation, group meals, and more), Young Adults will have the option to choose between two unique tracks to further deepen their PYT experience – the Learning Track and the Service Track. Both tracks will begin together each morning, exploring the theme and engaging with the PYT preachers. In the afternoon they will separate based on interest, before coming back together in the evenings after Worship & Recreation for YA community time.
PATHS
LEARNING PATH
The YA Learning Path aims to inspire young adults to turn their dreams into realities by learning from others who have done just that. These young dreamers will share how their faith motivated them to create positive change in the world and the steps they took to make a difference. Then as a group, they will reflect on their unique leadership styles, using their spiritual gifts as a foundation, and explore how to build communities centered on faith and action.
Young Adult Learning Path Coordinator – Rev. Jeremy Wilhelmi is the chaplain at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. He has spent 20 years in ministry with youth and young adults because he loves the spiritual formation and transformation that takes place at this juncture in our lives. He enjoys traveling, following college baseball, and building his own Lego sets.

The YA Service Path aims to create a fun and meaningful opportunity for young adults to engage with both the inner workings of Triennium through service, as well as the larger themes of Triennium through our own Young Adult Community Group. By supporting Worship, Recreation, and Community Groups, participants get a unique hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience of Triennium while learning about servant leadership. Service Path participants get an “insider look” at what goes into the event as well as the fun of supporting Recreation, Worship, and Community Groups in making Triennium a success! Being service-focused, there is an emphasis on manual labor, including event set up, breakdown, and staffing of activities throughout the event. But it is not all work, as the Service Path participants also get to experience the fun of Triennium first-hand through Recreation, Worship, and the Young Adult Community Group. This is an incredible option for young adults who prefer being active, are curious about what goes into a big event like Triennium, enjoy contributing to a large community & experience in a tangible way, and will appreciate being able to look around at Triennium say, “I helped make this happen!”
Young Adult Service Path Coordinator – Kris “Bubba” Brammer currently serves as the Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, NE. Growing up in the mountains of Roanoke, VA and previously serving churches in NC, he is now enjoying the good life in Nebraska with his wife Kris and their dog, Wrigley. He also enjoys golf, fly-fishing, and woodworking.
